Biography:    Eliza Jane Reynolds was the oldest daughter of Samuel and Mary Titus. Her uncle was Jonathan Titus, the founder of Titusville. She was born on November 2, 1828 in Troy Township, Crawford County, PA.

Eliza was married to Jonathan B. Reynolds who preceded her in death. They were survived by seven children: Simon Samuel Reynolds (1850 – 1929), Alva Wilder Reynolds (1852 – 1922), Martha Jane Reynolds Wilson (1852 – 1918), Emma Reynolds Wilson Welsh (1856 – 1944), Amanda Ellen Reynolds Morse (1865 – 1943), David Clemens Reynolds (1865 – 1946), and Charles Lynn Reynolds (1870 – 1940). Their second son, Crawford Carl Reynolds, died in 1895.

She died of pneumonia on March 11, 1910. She was nearing her 83rd birthday.
